Forget about strike ,Court order NLC and TUC

The National Industrial Court on Tuesday stopped ‎the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress from embarking on their planned strike over the increase in fuel price by the federal Government.The labour unions had threatened to commence a nationwide strike on Wednesday.
Justice Babatunde Adejumo gave the restraining order after the Attorney General of the Federation, and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, argued an ‎ex parte application in which the prayer for the order was contained.

NIPOST To Issue Passport And Driver’s Licence

Abuja – The Minister of Communications, Mr Abdur-Raheem Shittu, said the Federal Government planned to turn the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) into a mega conglomerate offering various services.This is contained in a statement by the Head, Public Communications, Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) in Abuja on Tuesday.It reported that the minister said this while receiving the Acting Director-General of BPE, Mr Vincent Akpotaire , who was on a courtesy call.
